E Pass – Key points:
- For foreign professionals, managers and executives. Candidates need to earn at least $3,300 a month and have acceptable qualifications.
- The duration of the pass is as follows: First-time candidates: up to 2 years. Renewals: up to 3 years.
- Have acceptable qualifications, usually a good university degree, professional qualifications or specialist skills.
- Young graduates from good institutions can qualify if they earn at least $3,300. Older, more experienced candidates need higher salaries to qualify.
- Work in a managerial, executive or specialised job.
- You may be required to advertise your job opening on the Jobs Bank before you can submit an Employment Pass application. The advertisement must be open to Singaporeans and run for at least 14 days.
- For Employment Pass applications filed from 1 October 2015, the accompanying advertisements must include published salary ranges.
- When you submit the application: $70 for each pass.
- When the pass is issued: $150 for each pass, $30 for each Multiple Journey visa (if applicable).
- Application Processing Time: If you apply online: 7 working days. Some cases will take more time. If you apply manually: 5 weeks.
