According to MOM guidelines, an employee is not entitled to the leave entitlement during his/her probationary period. Employees are entitled to paid annual leave if employees have worked for at least 3 months. 1. Preset/Customized Leave Types
Go to Configuration > select Leave Types where you will be able to view different preset leave types

Administrator will be able to edit the current leave types or create new leave types by clicking on the Add Leave Type button

2. Manage Leave Tables to tag under each of the employee profiles.
Go to Configuration > select [Leave Tables] > select the Add Leave Table button to add new

Administrator will be able to create new leave tables or edit the current leave tables

Administrator will be able to select different leave types, pre-set the number of working years with leave entitlement for the leave allowance. Besides that the administrator is also able to determine the number of leaves that allow to carried-forward.

NOTES:

  • Working Year: how many years working for company, 3 months ~ 3/12 = 0.25 year

    • Please key in Working Year From and To :

    • From 0 To 1 ----- Indicates < 1 year of employment

    • From 1 To 2 ----- Indicates From >=1 to <2 years of employment


  • Carried Forward: unused annual leaves from the previous period to be brought over to the next period (system will automatically calculate and bring the unused annual leaves into next period) ie:

    1. Entitlement 12 days, Carried forward 12 days --> Bring all unused to next period,  ie: Unused leave: 6 days --> bring forward 6 days
    2. Entitlement 12 days, Carried forward 6 days --> Bring maximum 6 unused days to next period, ie: Unused leave: 8 days --> bring forward 6 days
    3. Entitlement 12 days, Carried forward 0 days --> No unused leave to be brought to next period



3. After setting up the leave types and leave tables, please remember to tag each of the employees to the leave tables accordingly for leave calculation.
