Work Permit – Key points:

• The duration of the Work Permit is usually 2 years, but it may be shorter depending on: Validity of the worker's passport: validity will be 1 month before the passport expires. To get a 2-year Work Permit, the passport needs to be valid for at least 25 months. Duration of the security bond: validity will be 2 months before the security bond expires. To get a 2-year Work Permit, the Security Bond needs to be valid for at least 26 months.
• No minimum salary of qualification required.
• When you submit the application: $30 for each pass.
• When the pass is issued: $30 for each pass.
• Security Bond is covered at $5,000.
• Medical insurance coverage should be at least $15,000.
• Application processing time 1 working day.
